Adventure Day 5 - 2/26/9

If you've been following along with my blog or e-mails this week, you're getting a feel of representative chapters in both Daniel and Revelation. Today our sample chapter for study is Revelation 5, Friday is Daniel 7 and Saturday is Revelation 13. During this Adventure you will read most of Revelation, but the focal point is the 13th chapter...that's the chapter that will be key to this seven week study and sermon series. I encourage you to take time to both carefully read and reflect on these next three Scripture assignments...perhaps look at a few Bible study tools if you have them to better understand the figurative language.

If you're falling behind and not keeping up with the reading, I encourage you to just start fresh again today. Try to get the big picture of what's happening in the passage; don't get hung up on all the details.

[Read Revelation 5:1-14] Who is the Lamb, and what clues are in the passage that make you sure of this? Read vv. 9-10, and then pray it back as a prayer to Christ. What insight do these verses give about the purpose and goal for his first coming?
